    WRAS Approval for NATCEM® AC!

    NATCEM® AC Receives WRAS Approval

Natural Cement proudly announces that WRAS (Water Regulations Approval Scheme) has officially approved NATCEM® AC. This comes alongside the products recent re-approval by the DWI (Drinking Water Inspectorate) for the Reg.31 protocal, meaning engineers and contractors can use it confidently in drinking water applications. These certifications confirms its compliance with strict UK water safety standards.

WRAS approval guarantees that materials remain safe when in contact with drinking water. To achieve certification, products undergo rigorous BS6920 testing. These tests assess their impact on water quality. Since NATCEM® AC passed, it meets non-metallic material requirements. Therefore, it maintains water purity and safety.

    NATCEM® AC: A Reliable Solution

Professionals trust NATCEM® AC because of its durability and rapid-setting properties. This certification (Approval Number: 250155059) remains valid from January 2025 to January 2030. As a result, it strengthens its reputation in water-sensitive environments.

WRAS approved NATCEM® AC under specific conditions. Users must mix 25kg of NATCEM® AC with 5 litres of water. In addition, they must follow the manufacturer’s guidelines (IFU Issue 4, dated September 16, 2024). This approval covers applications at temperatures as low as 0°C and water exposure up to 23°C.

    Key Applications

Thanks to WRAS approval, NATCEM® AC suits projects where water quality matters most. For example, contractors can confidently use it in:

    • Repairs inside potable water reservoirs.
    • Infrastructure that remains in direct contact with drinking water.
    • Sealing and restoration of spillways and aqueducts.

Commitment to Quality and Compliance through WRAS Approval

Since NATCEM® AC is WRAS-approved, it can now feature the WRAS logo. This mark assures users of its compliance with UK water regulations. Moreover, Natural Cement remains committed to maintaining WRAS standards through strict quality control. This further reinforces NATCEM® AC’s role in sustainable construction. Consequently, contractors now have an environmentally friendly, compliant cement solution for water infrastructure. To learn more, visit the WRAS Approved Materials Directory.
