Low Carbon Footprint
The carbon footprint of Natural Cement is approx. 30% lower than that of OPC during production. This is due to Natural Cement being fired at much lower temperatures – between 600 – 800 degrees.

Natural Cement products are made using a natural hydraulic binder (Natural Cement) which is manufactured from a single natural raw material – Argillaceous limestone (a limestone that contains clay).
When this is fired and crushed in a certain way a Natural Cement is produced. The unique properties we get from the Natural Cement are all achievable without the addition of chemical additives.
As well as Natural Cement products containing no harmful chemical additives, there is also no free-lime release when they are mixed with water. This makes them PH neutral on set and safe to use around river and marine life.
Natural Cement products are supplied in fully recyclable packaging. As the products contain no chemical additives any wastage is also not classed as contaminated waste so there’s no need for Chemical Waste Disposal.
A number of our products are safe for use with potable water and Reg.31 approved by the Drinking Water Inspectorate.
