Richard Hall - Cook Group

Here at Cook Group we routinely use Natcem 35 as part of our waterproofing systems that we deliver on many new build sites across the UK. We find the quick-drying nature of Natcem 35 allows us to install our waterproofing systems without unnecessary delays to the Clients programme. We are yet to have a failure on any project where Natcem 35 has been used and we are very happy to say this! The support from the office is impeccable, be it technical assistance or simply a fast delivery needed. We keep pallets of Natcem 35 & Natcem Tank in stock and we do not hesitate in recommending the products to industry colleagues.

David Woodhouse - Tony Flower & Associates

Great storage life, adaptable and very versatile products. Our guys really like Natcem Tank and Natcem 35, especially as small jobs can be started and completed in a day.

Joshua McKinley, Contracts Manager - Frescrete

Natcem 35/AC enabled Frescrete, with continuity, to undertake works in sub-zero temperatures.

Helps win contracts (minimises waiting times between each process) due to fast curing properties within their mortars allowing any repair to be started finished and coated within the same working shift.

It has given Frescrete a winning formula in securing a large contract in Leeds, undertaking a high quantity of floor repairs in a food factory. We could offer our client minimal disruption with fast curing times allowing them to continue production within an hour of completing each section of repairs.

Chloe McCourt - Precision Plastering & Damproofing Ltd

A very efficient company and 100% trust these products, we use them daily and have for many years. The team are always helpful and professional, we have always had a pleasant experience with Natural Cement.

Would highly recommend to anyone, they are one of the best!

Tom Dear - Timberwise

We love Natural Cement! We use Natcem 35 regularly for damp works and remedial jobs where the fast setting times and near bombproof finish have proved to be a massive help. Natcem 35 saves us time on small plastering jobs which is a benefit to the customer and us.

Paul Evans - Preservation Treatments

We have been using Natural Cement products for over 10 years. Not only are the products consistently great quality, but the support from the staff is second to none, you can always speak to someone in the office to gain technical support and specification guidance. We ensure that our plasterers always carry Natcem 35, as due to its rapid curing time and high strength, it is a product that can be used in a wide range of applications.

David Morton - Preservation Treatments

We were first introduced to Natural Cement products approximately 15 years ago, and the product we most use at Preservation Treatments is Natcem 35.  It is one of those unique products.  I think every plasterer and operative should gain experience in using it and always have a couple of bags on their vans.  It is a very good “get you out of trouble” waterproofing product.  One area where it excels, is the waterproofing of lift-pits.  Lift-pits can be troublesome and the fact that Natcem 35 sets hard, so quickly, means that any leaks can be controlled and stopped without the new material being pushed off.  Understanding Natcem 35, and other Natural Cement products, is vital due to the way in which they work; so when Phil says “add some Jif lemon juice to the mix” to allow down the hardening process of Natcem 35, especially in hot weather, believe him!

Jason Carter - Oxford Hydrotechnics

We regularly use Natural Cement products for projects that require a cementitious solution. A lot of our work involves working near water courses and the additional environmental considerations, lend themselves to the use of these safer products. The rapid cure time and strength gain is also a major consideration when tidal working.

The staff at Natural Cement are always helpful & professional and the products meet all specifications needed to complete our jobs.

Peter J Smyth - The Institute of Clerks of Works & Construction Inspectorate of GB Inc

I would like to thank your company for the excellent CPD presentation that was given by your Phil Richardson. Phil soon demonstrated he is well aware of the value and technical qualities of your products and the problems associated with poor detailing and workmanship, he also had a pleasant way of passing on the merits to other people, so please pass on our sincere thanks for a very interesting and technical lecture. Can I also take this opportunity to thank you for the buffet that was presented, and was enjoyed by all of the members present!

Steve Richings, Commercial Director - Edwards Diving Services Ltd

EDS work in a variety of difficult access locations (including confined spaces and underwater), often with limited time available due to tidal or water flow constraints or with customers who want to limit downtime on their assets. NatCem35 provides us with a perfect solution of an easy to use product which provides rapid strength and early set – getting the job done to a high standard in the minimum time necessary. With a large team and expensive temporary works equipment on site, time is money, and so Natural Cement products are the perfect solution to ensuring we can work efficiently and effectively. We also appreciate the technical support from the team and rapid shipping which has been a saviour more than once!

Tony Hart - Sellafield Ltd

Many thanks for an excellent CPD presentation which we found of great interest and of value to our company. The initial feedback from all attendees was extremely favourable with positive comments regarding your knowledge and experience of the product, coupled with a great delivery style, which gave a high education value to the presentation.

Philip McKay - Aberdeenshire Council

The material has been used for small concrete repairs, external plastering and pointing work around MacDuff, Banff, Portsoy and Rosehearty harbours. The material is very easy for site staff to prepare as there are no additives or mixing requirements. The waterproofing nature of the material is also attractive to use around the harbour. From our, albeit limited use of the material I would have no hesitation in recommending it for use as a concrete repair product in the marine environment.

Tony Plant - V.A. Crookes LTD

We have used NATCEM 35 and NATCEM AC on a wide variety of projects from schools and commercial properties to domestic dwellings. It has generally been used for concrete repairs to columns, beams and other concrete elements. Its main advantage over other proprietary concrete repair products is its use where temporary formwork is being used. The rapid setting properties of NATCEM allows formwork to be stripped the same day instead of having to return to site again the next day.

Jack Knight - Haswell Consulting Engineers

We have used Natural Cement on two recent projects for the refurbishment of Sugar Loaf Tunnel for Railtrack Great Western Zone and the upgrading of Winchester Tunnel for Railtrack Eastern Zone. From our experience, the material used in sprayed concrete work, had very low rebound properties, high early strength and excellent adhesive properties even in very wet conditions. We are very pleased to recommend the use of the material and can confirm that it is our intention to specify this material for use in any further refurbishment works we may have in the future.

Ivan Chudleigh - London Underground

Over the past few years, a number of projects have been undertaken for our company during which Natural Cement products were used. These projects have all been successfully completed within the difficult constraints of time and access which control all works on the operational railway. We are writing to express the high regard that has developed within our organisation for Natural Cement products and to record our appreciation for the high quality of service that your company provides.

John Aveling - Managing Director - Galeforce Civil Engineering Limited

First introduction to Natural Cement was a water authority contract for Yorkshire Water at Dunford Bridge near Holmfirth. The specification was for SHOTCRETE 513 due to its WAA status. The environmental considerations were paramount, and it’s inert nature and short curing times were fundatmental in its inclusion in the restrictive specification, which was for slope stabilisation on a primary drinking water reservoir. Since the successful completion of this contract, SHOTCRETE 513 has been our first choice for dry sprayed material within enviromentally sensitive areas such as rivers or water authority structures. An example of this was the limestone canal tunnels contract in Dudley, West Midlands, where SHOTCRETE 513 was sprayed onto the roof of unstable limestone tunnels for stabilisation.

Mike Dunn - Senior Surveyor, Timberwise

We have been regular users of NATCEM 35 since 2004. The fast setting and waterproof properties make Natcem an invaluable part of many of our specifications. Natcem is particularly useful in maximising productivity and reducing waiting times which enable us to complete some smaller jobs within a day, which might otherwise take two to do and in providing a general purpose repair, filler and screed repair mortar. All of our technicians carry at least one bag on their vans at all times and a stock is held in our store.

David Morton - Senior Surveyor, Preservation Treatments Ltd

I have specified NATCEM 35 on a wide variety of jobs. One in particular springs to mind. Preservation Treatments specified the use of NATCEM 35 as a floor screed to a particularly damp basement in SW3, London. It was of paramount importance to the client to apply a thin waterproof screed due to the low ceiling heights, without compromising the strength of the screed. The use of NATCEM 35 allowed the client to complete the basement refurbishment without having to excavate any deeper. NATCEM 35 was the perfect product for the client and the main contractor was delighted with the re-entry time.

James Stoner - Stonbury Limited

Stonbury have used Natural Cement Distributions products successfully on a wide variety of projects for various utility companies over many years. The products have generally been used for concrete repairs to many forms of structures, especially within the water industry both on the clean & dirty side. We have found the products to be extremely time efficient for our clients as they are not only fast setting but also only require 30 minutes curing time thus allowing us on many occasions to hand back treated areas within the same day. With the products not requiring bonding agents, primers and curing agents we also find them to be very ecological, user friendly and safe to use. We would definately recommend them.

Alan Shaw - The DWC Group - Property Preservation Specialists

DWC has been using the Natural Cement products for over 10 years. When considering small areas of repair, the product is able not only to achieve a labour cost saving for the contractor but will affect a very efficient and lasting repair.

Garry Martin - Elasto Plastic Concrete (Europe) Ltd

Phil’s Natural Cement product is a great material. Worked with it as a part of a dry mix shotcrete combined with our Barchip fibres for a railway bridge repair.
