NATCEM® AC is reapproved!

This week, NATCEM® AC has been re-approved by the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) following a series of tests, concluding the product is safe for potable water and use down to 0°c for a further 5 years.

This result comes as no surprise to us at Natural Cement – we’re more than confident in the capabilities and properties of the wide range of products that we offer and we’re accompanied in that belief by many of our users and customers who can say and attest first-hand to their capability. With NATCEM® AC specifically, we’re happy to showcase case studies featuring this environmentally friendly, fast-setting, mortar with rapid strength gain such as:

• Knypersley Spillway Repair 
  • In which, NATCEM® AC was used to enhance and refurbish the structural integrity of the spillway of Knypersley Reservoir, a job well suited to the mortar due to its (and many other Natural Cement products) capability to be used with potable water, with no shrinkage, no curing, no priming, and no washout.
• Reservoir Refurbishment
  • Knypersley wasn’t the first time that NATCEM® AC had been used to great benefit in a reservoir – this case study provided to us from Stonbury showcases this perfectly as the mortar was used to apply screed to a roof with temperatures as low as 1°c.

While we, and our users, are ever-confident in the properties that Natural Cement products hold – these kinds of approvals are reassuring and vital in the construction industry and we are, as ever, pleased to be able to showcase them proudly.

Considering the re-approval, we at Natural Cement thought it prudent to celebrate by publishing brand-new NATCEM® AC product data sheets, and a brand new NATCEM® AC IFU document. (When we say Brand-new IFU, we meant a re-design. All technical information has been kept identical – since it didn’t need changing!)
