Natural Cement was pleased to attend the BHA Hydropower Summer Conference 2026 in Nottingham on the 4th of June, preceded by a Hydropower site visit & Summer BBQ networking event, despite the weather being less than ideal. .
The event brought together hydropower professionals, suppliers, developers and technical specialists from across the UK. It created a focused setting for discussion, networking and sector insight.
Throughout the conference, our team spoke with delegates about fast-setting, environmentally responsible materials. These conversations focused on policy, hydropower output, delivery & operation.
Our stand gave visitors the chance to learn more about Natural Cement’s product range. This included NATCEM® 35, NATCEM® AC and Waterstop.
These materials support contractors working in wet, cold and time-sensitive environments. Therefore, they suit many repair applications across water infrastructure and hydropower schemes.
During the event, Jack and James (Sales Manager & Marketing Lead, respectively) met existing contacts and built new relationships. These discussions reinforced the need for practical, durable repair solutions.
In hydropower environments, access, downtime and site conditions can all affect project delivery. As a result, reliable materials remain essential for contractors and asset owners.
One key takeaway from the conference was the role of policy and legislature in the current Hydropower sector. In addition, the event highlighted the capabilities and opportunities for growth and effectiveness in British Hydropower. Both points align closely with Natural Cement’s focus on performance, reliability and sustainability.
