On Saturday 13th December 2025, Natural Cement hosted a charity raffle in the Natural Cement Legends Suite at Oakwell, during Barnsley FC’s home fixture against Leyton Orient. The event combined matchday atmosphere with community fundraising, rounded off by an exciting 3–2 win for Barnsley.
Raffle tickets were sold before kick-off and during half-time, allowing supporters to get involved throughout the afternoon. In addition, several attendees chose to donate without entering the raffle, further increasing the total raised.
By the end of the matchday, £1,000 had been raised. Dominic Cooper from Rapid Response helped push the total over the line by rounding up the final amount when it fell just short of the target. Natural Cement then matched the funds raised, doubling the overall donation to £2,000 for Hollie’s Gift Appeal.
Following the event, Hollie’s Gift Appeal shared:
“What an amazing day we had yesterday at Barnsley Football Club in the Legends Suite, thanks to Natural Cement Distribution Ltd for inviting us and for organising the amazing raffle for Hollie’s Gift Appeal to raise £1,000, and then Natural Cement matching this to make the total £2,000. Barnsley Hospital Charity – this will be coming your way. I don’t know how to thank Vicki Richardson and your staff enough.”

Hollie’s Gift Appeal was founded by Hollie, who has juvenile arthritis and has spent considerable time in hospital since being diagnosed at the age of eight. The appeal collects gifts for people of all ages who are spending Christmas in hospital, helping to bring comfort and festive cheer at a challenging time. This year, donations are supporting patients at Barnsley Hospital.

The raffle was supported by a range of generous prize donors, including Barnsley FC, local professional boxer Callum Simpson, Bottle & Co. Mapplewell, MK Tints, and Kate Franks Nails & Beauty. On the day, valuable support was also provided by George Johnstone and Dan Hayward from Barnsley FC, alongside stadium announcer Jason Thelwell, who helped announce the winning tickets.
